Celebrating Our Students: A Time of Pride, Achievement, and New Beginnings

The Piney Point Elementary community recently gathered to celebrate one of the most exciting and meaningful traditions of the school year: our Promotion and Graduation Ceremonies. Presided over by our amazing Principal Hernita Johnson, these special events honored the accomplishments, growth, and perseverance of our students while marking an important milestone in their educational journey.

Throughout the ceremonies, students from every grade level were recognized for their hard work, determination, and commitment to learning. Families, teachers, and staff proudly applauded as students crossed the stage, reflecting on the many successes, challenges, and memorable moments that shaped the year.

We were especially proud to celebrate students from all of our programs, including General Education, Special Education, and the Gifted and Talented Program. Each student contributed their unique talents, creativity, and spirit to our school community, helping make Piney Point Elementary a place where every child is valued and encouraged to thrive.

The celebrations also highlighted the remarkable achievements of our extracurricular programs. Members of our Soccer Team, Basketball Team, Cheerleading Squad, and Art Club were recognized for their dedication, teamwork, creativity, leadership, and school pride. Whether on the field, on the court, through spirited performances, or by sharing their artistic talents, these students represented Piney Point Elementary with excellence throughout the year.

As we close another successful school year, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to our families, faculty, staff, and Principal Johnson for their unwavering support and leadership. Together, we continue to build a school community where purpose meets preparation to learn, lead and thrive. Congratulations to all of our students on a wonderful year of growth and achievement. We are incredibly proud of you and look forward to all the amazing things your future holds.
